There are three main causes of mobile blackspots.

1. Your network strength depends on how close your home is to your network’s mobile phone masts. Being further away means you might get a weaker signal.
2. Your local environment. Buildings, living in a basement or in a tower block, or hills and valleys for example, can all affect the ability of mobile signals to reach you.
3. Some phones are better at picking up signal than others.
